Evaluation and aid efficiency
After six decades of international development cooperation, the varied results of such efforts are often questioned. Although there has been progress in infrastructures and financial, human and institutional capital, the limits to the results are evident.
At CECOD we consider it essential to consider aid efficiency and that it is therefore necessary for development projects to be subject to in-depth evaluation.
We seek to contribute to this debate through research projects, publications, congresses and workshops. Consideration of this issue is vital and appropriate given the lack of Spanish literature on this area.
In addition the CECOD annually organizes the Course on Evaluation of Development Cooperation Interventions, a unique course on this topic in Spain, taught by various experts in the field.
